(baby cheek fuzz…)
mark: i can’t believe i let him wear that thing
thomas: dad just doesn’t understand how awesomely cute i am in it!
mark: at least the logo’s in a place where he can pee on it…
he’s been waking up to eat at night, which would be more frustrating if he didn’t also sleep in with me. we’re in bed for ten hours, which means i usually get to sleep for about eight of them. however, that means he’s growing physically in addition to all of the skills he’s developing. (and most babies are crazy fussy and terrible sleepers right around this four-month mark, so we count ourselves lucky if this is all we have to deal with).
it’s amazing to watch his fine motor skills improve, to see how long he can stand (with our hands there to balance him), to watch him take in the whole world. he loves the fire in the fireplace. he’s starting to engage with his toys, so now instead of an anonymous pile of stuffed animals, we have cabby the elephant, monkey-face the sock monkey, eduardo the… whatever taylor gave us.
he’s pretty good company.

So what I’m seeing in these pics is that Thomas will wear the Yankee onesie, or NOTHING at all (‘cept some cute slippers:)
Yay Thomas!!!
It spontaneously combusted after contact with his AWESOME BABY BEARD and Red Sox soul.
Oh man. Just when I think he couldn’t possibly be any cuter, he does.
for the record, i think the same thing about your kids. iris knocks my socks off, and elliott is such a charmer!
It’s neat to watch families grow and develop via the internet.
Has bug developed a new love for necklaces?
it’s made of amber, which some people swear is good for inflammation (something about natural oils that you absorb through your skin) and therefore good for teething babies.
aaaand if not, it’s pretty darn cute!
I like it. Yay for a non-puffy happy bug
